“I have always seen music as something more than just simple background noise: It is a character in our story, a motivator in our battles, and a form of healthy escapism that we can dive into and find comfort in when we need it most.”

Have you ever heard someone say “music has got to be fun,” or “music has to be beautiful,” or anything similar to these statements? As a musical storyteller, I believe that first and foremost, music has to be truthful. It may be anything: fun or sad, beautiful or ugly, fast or slow, but it has to be right, has to serve the setting or the story, and it has to speak directly to the heart of the listener. I truly believe that this sincerity in a musical work, along with skill and talent, is what makes certain songs or pieces stand the test of time and be loved and listened to throughout years, decades, and centuries. And this truthfulness is precisely what I strive for in every note I write and in every sound I produce.
After becoming one of the youngest students at Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduating with a BA in Composition and Film Scoring, I moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of my dream to write music for visual media, where I have been fortunate to combine my career in composition with orchestration and production for artists and songs. Since then, I’ve been lucky to be part of projects ranging from grand albums of Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond to startups like the Little Blue Dragon augmented reality app.
Today, I continue to create music for films, TV and radio commercials, video games, and orchestras around the world, as well as collaborating with singers and songwriters.
